On Sat. Aug. 25, 2007 at 1:30 pm at Evangel Fellowship, LaDonna Cornwell, Word Publishing Writer--and daughter of Charles and Bettye Graham(CT) wed Wayne Campbell, Leadership Institute Project Lead--son of Glenda Campbell (SC) and Warren and Auntna Campbell (TX). The groom's grandparents are Jetson Mills of Greensboro, and Myrtle Maxwell (NJ). A graduate of Campbell High, Smyrna, GA, the bride earned an English BA at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, and an English MA at UNC-Greensboro. The groom graduated Grimsley High and earned a history BA from NC A&T State University, and an MA from Regent University in Virginia Beach.
Maid-of-Honor, Ronita Frieson, and Best Man/brother, Warren Campbell, led a 20-member bridal party. The theme was "Win the World for Christ Our King." Featured were dancers, musicians--including cousin, O.J. Harper--and a "You Raise Me Up," tribute to departed loved ones and grandparents--Sorves and Beulah Cornwell, and Margaret Mills and George Campbell Sr. The ensuing Greensboro Malachi Training Center reception began with a couple's first dance to "Falling in Love with Jesus," and included dinner, toasts, and dancing led by D.J. Joseph Level. The couple honeymooned aboard a 7-day Caribbean cruise and now reside in Greensboro.
