Katherine Lynn McGill and Adam Bresler Burkholder were united in marriage Saturday, August 16, 2008 at Jamestown Presbyterian Church in Jamestown. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick A. McGill of Jamestown. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BA in Communications. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel E. Burkholder of Tallahassee, FL. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BS in Applied Sciences. He received a Master's Degree in Biomedical Engineering in a shared program from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and North Carolina State University. Escorted by her father, Katherine was attended by Kelly McGill, sister of the bride, as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Lauren Farrington of Greensboro, Jessica Grant of Cary, Amy Lepper of Madison, FL, Emily Stearns of Greensboro, and Laura Tuten of Madison, FL. Adam chose James Wilson of Asheville, as best man. Groomsmen were Jonathan Burkholder, brother of the groom, of Huntsville, AL, Nathan Perez of Boston, MA, Joel Segel of Durham, Kyle Wells of Tallahassee, FL, and Amorn Wongsarnpigoon of Durham. Following a honeymoon in Jamaica, the couple will reside in Mebane.
