HIGH POINT — Walmart said today it will hire 350 people to work in its new supercenter here this fall.
The discount chain has opened a hiring office at 2107 Chester Ridge Drive, Suite 106 in High Point. Applicants can stop by the office for more information or call 841-6613.
The hiring center started taking applications today and will accept applications during these hours:
* Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
* Tuesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
* Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The new store will open sometime this fall at 2710 N. Main St., the site of a former Walmart store at North College Drive. Most associates will begin work in September to prepare the store for its opening later this year.
