GREENSBORO - Replacements Ltd. - which bills itself as having the largest selection of old and new china, crystal, silver and collectibles in the world - is having a yard sale.

The company will offer discounts to more than 100,000 pieces of inventory Sept. 20-21.

Its last yard sale four years ago drew more than 7,500 customers from 38 states, according to Replacements CEO Bob Page.

This year, Replacements will sell cardboard boxes for five dollars each. Customers can then fill each box with as much yard sale merchandise it can hold.

Ten-percent of the yard sale proceeds will benefit Children of Vietnam, a humanitarian organization providing direct aid to poor and homeless children through orphanages and street children programs in central Vietnam.

The sale runs 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sept. 20 and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. the next day. Admission is $5.

Replacements is located just off I-40/I-85 (exit 132) at 1089 Knox Road, McLeansville.
