The wedding of Sarah L. Dondero and Richard A. Viczorek was celebrated on Saturday, August 9, 2008 at the Mission at Santa Clara in Santa Clara, California. The bride's uncle, Rev. Thomas F. Dailey, OSFS of Allentown, PA performed the ceremony.

Sarah is the daughter of Harvey and Joan Dondero of Greensboro, NC. She is a graduate of the University of Virginia with a degree in Electrical Engineering and George Washington University, Washington, DC with a Masters of Information Systems. Until recently she was coaching women's rowing at the University of Kansas.

Rick, a Major in the United States Marine Corps in the Pentagon in Washington, DC, is a graduate of UCLA and Santa Clara University School of Law. He is the son of Roseann Clavelli of San Mateo, CA. and Bob Viczorek of Memphis, TN.

Attending the couple were Sarah's sisters, Carolyn, Elizabeth and Emily as well as college friends Christina Hillson, Kirin Surpless and Kate Robertson. The groom was attended by Paul Schultz, Rob Viczorek and Michael McFadden. The Marine Corps Arch of Swords consisted of Marine Corps Officers Noel Tipon, Chris O'Donnell, Brian Rooney, and Adam Subervi.

The rehearsal dinner hosted by the grooms parents was held at MacArthur Park Restaurant in Palo Alto for the wedding party and out of town guests. The bride's parents held a reception following the ceremony at the Palo Alto Hills Golf & Country Club. Sunday morning a brunch was hosted by the groom's mother and step-father prior to attending the Giants-Dodgers baseball game in San Francisco. Sarah and Rick reside in Washington, DC.
