John Joseph and Rosemary Brown Marsicano of Greensboro celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 28, 2008. They were married August 23, 1958 at Assumption Catholic Church in Jacksonville, Florida.

A surprise dinner reception was given by their children at Morton's Steakhouse in Charlotte, North Carolina. John and Rosemary have five children: Reedy and Christiana Marsicano of Del Mar, CA, Mary Frances and Steve Melink of Cincinnati, OH, Joan and Bill Whitacre of Greensboro, NC, Marilyn and Gene Clements of Charlotte, NC and Jean and Jason Hartshorn of Charlotte, NC.

They have seven grandchildren.
